The Pinned Nurse was established in 2025 during one of the most difficult and transformative times in my life. While my son was undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, I began creating beadable pens and keychains as a way to pass the time and bring a little creativity into our days.

What started as a simple hobby quickly grew into something much more. As a nurse, I made a custom pen for myself so I could easily tell it apart from the nurses' pens on the unit. We were constantly borrowing each other's pens, and more than once someone ended up charting with a crayon because all the pens had disappeared!

Soon, nurses began asking where I got my pens and if I could make one for them. What began as a personal project turned into a small business fueled by creativity, connection, and purpose.

Today, The Pinned Nurse creates handcrafted beadable pens, keychains, phone charms, and accessories that bring a little personality and joy to everyday life. Each piece is made with care and serves as a reminder of the strength, kindness, and support we experienced throughout our journey.

Giving back remains at the heart of what we do. The Pinned Nurse was built from a place of hope, and we are proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, whose care and compassion helped our family through an unimaginable time.
